Season One:
"Signs and Portents"

[1/01] Midnight on the Firing Line:
The Centauri attack the Narn colony on Ragesh III, and the two empires begin to be on the brink of war. This episode is a good introduction to a good series.
Rating: 7.5
[ARC] [SCENE SETTING] [RACE INFORMATION]

[1/02] Soul Hunter:
A Soul Hunter is rescued when his craft drifts towards Babylon 5 but the Soul Hunter is deranged and goes after Delenn to attempt to add her to his collection. With good all round performances this episode is a must.
Rating: 10.0
[ARC] [REQUIRED VIEWING FOR FILM 3] [RACE INFORMATION] [CHARACTER BUILDING - DELENN]

[1/03] Born to Purple:
An alien attempts to get Adira to seduce Londo Mollari in order to get hold of some politically sensitive information from Ambassador Londo's purple files. A good all round episode which is reasonably entertaining.
Rating: 5.8
[CHARACTER BUILDING - LONDO MOLLARI]

[1/04] Infection:
Lance Hendricks, an archeologist, smuggles some organic technology aboard B5. His assistant is infected turning him into a create that is hell-bent on destroying the station. Infection was the first episode to be shot. It looks rubbish and doesn't play well. AVOID!!!
Rating: 1.4
[ (Minor) CHARACTER BUILDING - FRANKLIN]

[1/05] The Parliament Of Dreams:
G'Kar undergoes an assasination attempt, and Sinclair's ex-girfriend arrives aboard the station. I think that we can honestly say that any episode with Katsulas in can only be good... This one is very good although the other plot isn't as interesting.
Rating: 7.5
[CHARACTER BUILDING - G'KAR] [CHARACTER BUILDING - SINCLAIR'S GIRFRIEND]

[1/06] Mind War:
Introduces Bester (look at my sig and you'll find that I have called myself Bester due to firstly it being a free name and secondly the wonderful characterisation my favourite actor brings to the part), who chases Jason Ironheart, a rogue telepath (P22) to Babylon 5. Very good. One of the episodes which you should not miss. Watch Koenig carefully for some signs of what is to come...
Rating: 10.0
[ARC] [RECURRING GUEST - BESTER] [CHARACTER BUILDING - BESTER] [CHARACTER BUILDING - TALIA WINTERS] [RACE INFORMATION]

[1/07] The War Prayer:
Poor first attempt by D. C. Fontana. Aliens are attacked by a Xenophobic Earth sect. That's it. Stephen Furst shines of course and the actors are the only reason for watching it...
Rating: 5.2
[MINOR ARC] [CHARACTER BUILDING - LONDO] [CHARACTER BUILDING VIR COTTO] [RACE INFORMATION]

[1/08] And The Sky Full Of Stars:
Watch - enjoy - absorb... What??? You want more. I can't tell you more without spoilers. Let me say that Sinclair is forced to face his past after a 'deep probe\scan' by a group of investigators...
Rating: 10.0
[ARC] [CHARACTER BUILDING - SINCLAIR]

[1/09] Deathwalker:
A scientist wanted for war crimes arrives on B5. An average episode...
Rating: 5.3
[ARC] [CHARACTER BUILDING - SINCLAIR]

[1/10] Believers:
The series plays a trump card with this wonderfully written episode. THIS is required viewing as a boy must be treated whose religious laws forbid it. It's B5 meets ER in a semi-sci fi episode. Enjoy.
Rating: 10.0
[CHARACTER BUILDING - FRANKLIN]

[1/11] Survivors:
The President prepares to arrive on Babylon 5... About as bad as Infection (and it's no mean feat to be THAT bad!!!).
Rating: 1.6
[ARC]

[1/12] By Any Means Necessary:
Due to dire reviews and an on-line chat this one was missed...

[1/13] Signs And Portents:
Mr Morden is introduced and a Centauri Prophetress forsees the station's destruction. Other people liked it more than I did...
Rating: 9.7
[VITAL FOR ARC] [CHARACTER BUILDING - ALL] [RACE INFORMATION] [RECURRING GUEST - MORDEN]

[1/14] TKO:
A boxing match occurs on B5 as Ivanova sees an old friend... Watch for the Ivanova plotline...
Rating: 5.8
[SETTLES PLOT LINE] [CHARACTER BUILDING - IVANOVA] [CHARACTER BUILDING - GARIBALDI] [RACE INFORMATION] [BACKGROUND BUILDING]

[1/15] Grail:
A good, strong episode in which a Grail Hunter arrives on B5. The first in a long list of Arthurian mentions...
Rating: 9.4
[CHARACTER BUILDING - KOSH] [BACKGROUND BUILDING]

[1/16] Eyes:
Last minute affair about an investigation. Ignore and step over unless you REALLY want to get the unimportant arc bits...
Rating: 2.9
[MINOR ARC] [CHARACTER BUILDING - IVANOVA] [CHARACTER BUILDING - SINCLAIR]

[1/17] Legacies:
Winters and Ivanova fight over an orphaned telepath... Great episode. While that goes on a Minbari Corpse is stolen in an obvious plot line...
Rating: 8.8
[MINOR ARC] [CHARACTER BUILDING - ALL]

[1/18|19] A Voice In The Wilderness (Parts one and two):
A reasonable episode but not required viewing... An advanced city is found on Epsilon 3 which is dying...
Rating: 6.3
[ARC] [CHARACTER BUILDING - ALL]

[1/20] Babylon Squared:
A classic episode which apparently prepares us for a later episode. It's all about the re-appearance of Babylon 4. It truly is classic sci-fi.
Rating: 10.0
[ARC] [CHARACTER BUILDING - MOST]

[1/21] The Quality Of Mercy:
A reasonable stand-alone episode - hopefully it may contain something of value to the later eps...
Rating: 7.4
[ARC] [CHARACTER BUILDING - FRANKLIN]

[1/22] Chrysalis:
In case any of you have videoed but have not seen this ep I'll leave the plot a secret, however it changes the ENTIRE series.
